Quartz, quartzite, granite and marble countertops, templated and installed by one licensed team
Quartz, quartzite, granite, marble and porcelain countertops for kitchens, islands, bathrooms and outdoor kitchens, installed by a state-certified building contractor (License #CBC1269429).
Countertops set the tone for a kitchen or bathroom, and they take more daily wear than almost any other surface in the house. North2South Renovations helps homeowners in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach and across Palm Beach County choose the right material, then handles the templating, fabrication coordination and installation.
Each material has strengths. Quartz is consistent and low-maintenance. Quartzite and granite are natural stones that handle heat well. Marble brings unmatched character but needs more care, and porcelain slabs are thin, durable and work indoors or out. We walk you through the tradeoffs for how you actually cook and live.
Countertops are measured only after cabinets are installed and level, and the sink and faucet are chosen first so the cutouts are exact. Whether it is a countertop replacement on existing cabinets or part of a full kitchen or bathroom remodel, we coordinate every step so the slab fits the first time.
We help you compare quartz, quartzite, granite, marble and porcelain, choose edges and backsplash, and select slabs that suit your space and budget.
Digital templating after cabinets are set, exact sink and cooktop cutouts, seams placed where they make sense, and careful installation and sealing.
North2South did an excellent job on our kitchen remodel. We didn’t really have a clear vision of what exactly we wanted, but we knew our ugly outdated kitchen had to go. Colby and his team walked us through the design process, listened when we had ideas or opinions, and took the lead when we were clueless. I can’t tell you how many times we said “just do whatever you would do if it was your house”, and each time they proved that they were deserving of that trust. They ended up changing the footprint/layout of the kitchen, moving plumbing, replacing all the floors,.
Colby and his team did a great job with our home renovation! His team was professional, skilled and very detailed. Colby kept us updated on progress along with way as well as discuss and explain any roadblocks the team was facing. I appreciate that the team kept on schedule, and on budget. I've worked with several different firms and this was by far the best experience. I highly recommend them!
It depends on how you use the kitchen. Quartz is low-maintenance and consistent, quartzite and granite handle heat and wear well, and marble offers natural beauty but etches more easily. For a full comparison, see our guide to quartz vs quartzite countertops.
After cabinets are installed, templating takes about a day. Fabrication commonly takes one to two weeks, and installation is usually completed in a single day, with plumbing reconnected right after.
Often yes, if the cabinets are level, sturdy and in good condition. We check the cabinets first, since new stone is heavy and needs a solid, level base.
Yes. The sink, faucet and cooktop should be on site or confirmed before templating so the cutouts are exact.
Granite, quartzite and porcelain hold up best outdoors in Florida sun. Most engineered quartz is not recommended for uncovered outdoor areas because UV exposure can discolor it.
