Jupiter Farms is unincorporated Palm Beach County, so the county's Planning, Zoning and Building department issues permits there. Homes inside town limits are permitted by the Town of Jupiter. We confirm which applies before scheduling.
Some Jupiter Farms homes run on well water and septic. That affects water filtration, the dishwasher and fixtures we recommend, and how we plan new drain lines. Iron-rich well water can stain sinks and grout, so we recommend finishes that resist staining.
Closer to the water, some addresses sit in flood zones, where the $7,500 permit exemption does not apply. Associations and HOAs add approval steps too.
Florida HB 803 took effect July 1, 2026. It lets single-family owners skip a building permit for some work valued under $7,500, but it does not cover plumbing, electrical, structural, mechanical or gas work, it does not apply in flood hazard areas, and a project cannot be split up to stay under the limit. A real remodel moves drains, valves or wiring, so plan on a permit. We file it and close it out.

Most of our kitchens run $16,500 to $30,000 for a refresh, $27,000 to $47,500 for a mid-range remodel with new cabinets in the same layout, and $75,000 to $150,000+ for a high-end remodel with layout changes.

Usually. Florida HB 803, effective July 1, 2026, exempts some single-family work under $7,500, but not plumbing, electrical, structural or gas work. New circuits, a moved sink or a removed wall all need a permit, and we handle it.
Quartz is engineered, consistent and low-maintenance. Quartzite is natural stone with more variation and needs sealing. See our quartz vs. quartzite guide.
