Boynton Beach, Florida
Kitchen remodels for Boynton homes and 55+ communities · Licensed contractor CBC1269429
Boynton Beach kitchens range from older single-family homes east of I-95 to the 55+ and gated communities west of the turnpike. In both, homeowners usually ask for the same three things: more counter space, better lighting, and cabinets that are easier to reach.

Homes inside city limits are permitted by the City of Boynton Beach. Many gated communities west of the city, including much of the Valencia and Canyon corridor, are unincorporated Palm Beach County. Either way, most HOAs want to approve the contractor and the work hours first.
Boynton Beach asks owners or contractors to request the HB 803 exemption in writing through its online permitting portal before skipping a permit. Kitchen work that touches plumbing, electrical or structure never qualifies.
For long-term homeowners we add pull-out shelves and drawers in place of deep base cabinets, under-cabinet lighting, a microwave drawer, a lever-handle faucet and slip-resistant flooring. These changes make a kitchen easier to use for years.
Florida HB 803 took effect July 1, 2026. It lets single-family owners skip a building permit for some work valued under $7,500, but it does not cover plumbing, electrical, structural, mechanical or gas work, it does not apply in flood hazard areas, and a project cannot be split up to stay under the limit. A real remodel moves drains, valves or wiring, so plan on a permit. We file it and close it out.

Yes. Pull-out drawers instead of deep cabinets, a microwave drawer, better task lighting, lever faucets and slip-resistant floors are our most common accessibility upgrades.
Most of our kitchens run $16,500 to $30,000 for a refresh, $27,000 to $47,500 for a mid-range remodel with new cabinets in the same layout, and $75,000 to $150,000+ for a high-end remodel with layout changes.

Usually. Florida HB 803, effective July 1, 2026, exempts some single-family work under $7,500, but not plumbing, electrical, structural or gas work. New circuits, a moved sink or a removed wall all need a permit, and we handle it.
Quartz is engineered, consistent and low-maintenance. Quartzite is natural stone with more variation and needs sealing. See our quartz vs. quartzite guide.
