Boca Raton, Florida
Condo and country club kitchens, remodeled by a licensed contractor · CBC1269429
In Boca Raton we remodel two kinds of kitchens more than any other. One is the condo galley that needs to feel bigger. The other is the 1980s or 1990s country club home kitchen that's ready for a modern open plan with an island. Both run on rules: condo boards, HOA architectural committees and either city or county permits. We plan for those from the first visit.

Condo kitchens usually keep plumbing and venting where they are, so we get space from smarter cabinetry: full-height uppers, a peninsula with seating, under-cabinet lighting and appliances sized to fit. Associations typically want a contractor application, insurance certificates and approved work hours. See condo remodeling rules in Boca Raton.
Removing a wall between the kitchen and family room is the most requested change in Boca's gated communities. We check whether the wall is load-bearing, engineer a beam if needed, and coordinate HOA approval. Read island vs. peninsula before you decide.
Florida HB 803 took effect July 1, 2026. It lets single-family owners skip a building permit for some work valued under $7,500, but it does not cover plumbing, electrical, structural, mechanical or gas work, it does not apply in flood hazard areas, and a project cannot be split up to stay under the limit. A real remodel moves drains, valves or wiring, so plan on a permit. We file it and close it out.

Most of our kitchens run $16,500 to $30,000 for a refresh, $27,000 to $47,500 for a mid-range remodel with new cabinets in the same layout, and $75,000 to $150,000+ for a high-end remodel with layout changes.
Most kitchens take about 2.5 weeks of on-site work once cabinets and materials are ready. Design, selections, permits and cabinet lead time come before that, so plan on several weeks from contract to start.
Usually. Florida HB 803, effective July 1, 2026, exempts some single-family work under $7,500, but not plumbing, electrical, structural or gas work. New circuits, a moved sink or a removed wall all need a permit, and we handle it.
Quartz is engineered, consistent and low-maintenance. Quartzite is natural stone with more variation and needs sealing. See our quartz vs. quartzite guide.
