Boca Raton, Florida
Condo, country club and single-family bathroom remodels by a licensed contractor · CBC1269429
Most Boca Raton bathrooms we remodel sit inside something with its own rulebook: a condo tower, a country club community or an HOA with an architectural committee. We plan for those rules from the first visit, so your approval, work hours and insurance paperwork are handled before demolition day. Our shop is 15 minutes north in Delray Beach.

Here's a recent North2South project in Boca Raton, start to finish.
Homes inside Boca Raton city limits get permits from the City of Boca Raton. Many "Boca" addresses west of the city, including large parts of the country club corridor, are unincorporated Palm Beach County, so the county issues the permit instead. We confirm which one applies to your address before we quote a timeline.
Condo bathrooms usually need association approval before work starts. Expect a contractor application, insurance certificates naming the association, set work hours, elevator reservations and sometimes a sound-rated underlayment under new tile. We prepare that packet for you. See condo remodeling rules in Boca Raton.
Florida HB 803 took effect July 1, 2026. It lets single-family owners skip a building permit for some work valued under $7,500, but it does not cover plumbing, electrical, structural, mechanical or gas work, it does not apply in flood hazard areas, and a project cannot be split up to stay under the limit. A real remodel moves drains, valves or wiring, so plan on a permit. We file it and close it out.
Many Boca homes and condos from the 1970s and 1980s still have their original tub, small shower and builder vanity. The most common job we do here is a tub-to-shower conversion or a primary bath opened up into a large walk-in shower with frameless glass and a bench.
We remodel bathrooms across Boca Raton and its gated communities, including Boca West, Broken Sound, Boca Pointe, The Polo Club, Mission Bay, Boca Falls, Boca Lago, The Sanctuary, Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club, Old Floresta, Downtown Boca and nearby Highland Beach.
| Bathroom project | Typical range | Build time |

The hidden work, like waterproofing, blocking and level floors, gets done right before anything pretty goes in.
Your estimate lists the work line by line, so the price does not drift.

In most condo buildings, yes. Associations usually require a contractor application, insurance certificates and approved work hours, and some require sound-rated underlayment under tile. We prepare the packet and work within the building's rules.
It depends on the address. Homes inside city limits are permitted by the City of Boca Raton, while many west Boca communities are in unincorporated Palm Beach County, where the county issues permits. We check before we schedule.
Most of our bathroom projects run $6,500 to $14,000 for a powder room, $19,500 to $39,500 for a guest bath with a tub-to-shower conversion, $23,000 to $45,000 for a primary bath, and $49,500 to $99,000+ for a luxury primary suite. A recent full-gut bathroom we finished in Delray Beach came in at $20,000.
No. Florida HB 803, effective July 1, 2026, exempts some single-family work valued under $7,500 from a building permit, but it does not cover plumbing, electrical, structural, mechanical or gas work, and it does not apply in flood hazard areas. A real bathroom remodel moves drains, valves or wiring, so it still needs a permit.
Yes. We add blocking for grab bars during framing, build curbless or low-threshold showers, add benches and handheld wands, and widen doorways where the wall allows. See aging-in-place remodeling.
